A bathroom is the finished space you see and the moisture management you don’t.
Good planning holds both in mind from the start. We look at how the room is used, whether a walk-in shower makes more sense than a tub, where storage actually needs to be, and how the layout will feel day to day.
The goal is a room that is comfortable and easy to keep clean, built on an assembly that handles water correctly. The finishes matter, but so does everything behind them.
The work you never see.
In a bathroom, the most important work is the part that disappears behind the tile.
- Proper moisture management in the wet areas, because tile and grout are finish surfaces, not the waterproofing themselves
- A shower and floor laid out so slopes, drains, and niches actually work
- Ventilation that moves moisture out of the room
- Tile set to a considered layout, with proportion and grout lines that look intentional
- Slip-resistant flooring choices and details that make the room easier to live with
Small room, every choice counts.
Bathrooms are small, so proportion matters even more than in a larger room. Tile size and layout, the scale of the vanity, lighting, mirrors, and fixture finishes all read together in a tight space. A design eye helps here: choosing tile that fits the room rather than fighting it, keeping the palette calm, and planning storage and niches so the surfaces stay uncluttered.
Thinking ahead about easy cleaning, and about accessibility down the road, tends to pay off long after the project is finished.
The tile is the finish. The waterproofing is the project.
